White Kitchen Cabinets

I have a tan wall, light-colored countertops and floor, and stainless steel appliances in my kitchen. However, my cabinets have a terrible finish. I want to prime and paint them but I don’t want to do the usual white paint. I considered black or brown. Any ideas? Has anyone ever seen cabinets that have been painted brown?

They are very small almost like sand, all white and stick to cabinet, dishes everywhere.

I am looking for a color for my kitchen walls, the floor will eventually be a typical neutral ceramic tile, the cabinets are white, the countertops are white and the backsplash is a very light blue almost more greyish blue color, I was going to try and go with a cool green or blue but wasn’t sure, any thoughts?

Galley kitchen, white appliances and cabinets. Floors are dark cherry, counter tops are speckled brown granite with beige tile back splash. There is a large window for the breakfast nook, and white wainscoting around it. Dining room is light yellow, living room is tan.

Thinking a nice “pumpkin pie” color would be nice, but haven’t found the shade. Alternatively, maybe a light green (like moss).

Suggestions?

I want to add maple wood cupboards in my kitchen up to my ceiling where they will have their own wood molding to match the cupboards. But I also want to add white crown molding to the rest of my kitchen. I haven’t seen this combination on any websites or galleries. Is this taboo? Or do I have to choose between wood cupboards to the ceiling & no crown molding OR cupboards 6-12″ from ceiling but add crown molding around full room? I don’t want to do white kitchen cabinets. Any ideas?

I can’t paint over anything and the cabinets are all white too. They also seem to be made of metal. I want to accent it or something. Right now it looks like a plain white sheet of paper, UGH!!!

It comes with a white fluorescent bulb and I absolutely hate the way it looks. All lights in my house have a soothing, yellow-ish glow, but these. I want to change the bulbs to something more soothing, such as a yellow hue like that of the light that goes above a stove, but I’m not having any luck finding them. Anyone know where I can pick some up?
